This piece features butterfly coquinas circling a spire sea snail shell.
Turritella communis are a high-spired (spiral) shell of the mollusc (snail) species. Spire means the tightness of the spirals in the shell.
This one-of-a-kind handmade piece was designed in honor of Captiva and Sanibel Islands' resilience during hurricanes Debby and Helene in 2024. These shells were hand-picked on Captiva Island, FL on August 3, 2024, the evening before tropical storm/hurricane Debby.
This is a new handmade piece and will come in standard bag and card packaging. Gift packaging is available.
Because this is a hand made piece featuring natural materials, it is not advised that it be worn in exceptionally moist conditions like when swimming or sweating.
